Dear Reader(s),
September 7,
we took a long plane trip from Dallas Forth Worth, in the State of Texas to Copenhagen, Denmark. It was 8 hours long!! During the flight I played a game called sugar rush bowling on the game console. When we reached Copenhagen we stayed there for one day at Hotel Maritime. And in that one day I got to do the following:One of Copenhagen's most famous tourist attractions is the sculpture of The Little Mermaid. It is 100 years old. We took a stroll in the park nearby and took pictures.
Then we took a Hop On / Hop Off bus to a place called Nyhavn. Especially during summer Nyhavn is the perfect place to end a long day, eat ice cream and have dinner at one of the cosy restaurants.
Amalienborg is considered one of the greatest works of Danish Rococo architecture and was
constructed in the 1700's.
Tivoli Gardens amusement park in Copenhagen is a must for all visitors to the city, young and old. Tivoli is located just a few minutes walk from City Hall.
A visit to the Tycho Brahe Planetarium is educational entertainment for the entire family. Immerse yourself in the starry sky, watch IMAX and 3D movies or explore the exhibition
